Local owner, Clayton Baker is a Level 1 Licensed Building Certifier with over 30 years’ experience in the Building Certification industry in Queensland. Clayton’s career commenced in local government in 1994 and progressed into private practice in 2007. Clayton held several managerial positions before establishing Baker Building Certification in 2013.
Clayton enjoys a challenge and is adept at solving problems with code compliance whether it be for residential, industrial or commercial construction. Over the last 15 years Clayton has been able to gain considerable experience working on projects across Queensland including projects in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Townsville, Mt Isa, Cooktown and other regional centres. Clayton also brings his level of expertise working in remote communities throughout the Torres Strait, Cape York and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Aaron oversees the Cairns branch and is a licensed Private Building Certifier. Aaron has an extensive building background with carpentry trade qualifications, is a registered builder (QBCC Low Rise) and a Pool Safety Inspector. Aaron brings over 20 years’ experience within the building industry both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Aaron has worked in the Certification industry since 2014 and is incredibly passionate about building certification.
